Tasva, the premium Indian menswear brand by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited and designer Tarun Tahiliani, presented its latest collection at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI in New Delhi on October 15, 2026. Featuring actor Ali Fazal as the showstopper, the showcase celebrated the fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern occasionwear.
Held at Taj Palace, New Delhi, the fashion presentation highlighted the evolving style preferences of modern Indian grooms. Content creators Mohak Narang, Ashi Khanna, Tarun Kinra and Sunny Chopra also walked the runway, bringing their individual styles to the showcase.
Tasva Blends Traditional Craftsmanship with Contemporary Design

Inspired by India’s rich artistic heritage, the collection drew from the Tree of Life, Lipan Art, paisley motifs and the Art of Light. Floral, geometric and fluid patterns added visual depth, translating traditional influences into modern menswear designs.
The collection showcased intricate Indian craftsmanship through techniques such as Aari work, Zardozi embroidery and mirror work. Appliqué, pearl embellishments and three-dimensional detailing further enhanced the ensembles, balancing elaborate ornamentation with clean lines and modern tailoring.
A Refined Colour Palette for Wedding Celebrations

The latest collection of Tasva featured a carefully curated palette suited to different wedding occasions. Soft shades of ivory, lilac, salmon and jade created an understated look for daytime celebrations, while jewel tones and vibrant accents offered bolder options for cocktail evenings and mehndi festivities.
The collection included classic sherwanis with asymmetrical detailing, sharply tailored dinner jackets and contemporary Indo-Western outfits. These silhouettes offered modern grooms versatile options that combine traditional elegance with comfort and individuality.
Tarun Tahiliani Highlights Comfort and Individuality

Speaking about the collection, designer Tarun Tahiliani emphasised the importance of making Indian occasionwear relevant to modern lifestyles. He highlighted the brand’s approach of combining global tailoring and pattern-making techniques with traditional craftsmanship, while keeping comfort central to its designs.
Tasva Brand Head Ashish Mukul added that today’s Indian groom seeks outfits that honour tradition while reflecting personal style. The collection aims to meet these expectations through thoughtful detailing and adaptable silhouettes.
Ali Fazal also expressed his appreciation for the showcase, noting how the designs bring together India’s craftsmanship and a contemporary sensibility.
With this presentation at Lakmē Fashion Week 2026, Tasva reinforced its vision of modern Indian menswear, celebrating heritage, innovation and personal expression through wedding and occasionwear.
