Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 FE, the next Fan Edition smartphone in its flagship Galaxy S26 lineup. While the company has not officially announced the device yet, leaks and certification sightings have revealed several details about its specifications, expected pricing and possible launch timeline.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Could Get a New Chip
One of the biggest changes expected with the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is its processor. According to 91mobiles, the phone is listed with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. The chipset is expected to provide a performance improvement over the Galaxy S25 FE, although the overall hardware upgrade could remain relatively modest.
The phone is also expected to run Android 17 with Samsung’s One UI and could receive seven years of software and security updates. This would make long-term software support one of the major advantages of the device.
he leaked specifications suggest that the Galaxy S26 FE could feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of brightness. The smartphone is expected to retain a triple rear-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide camera and 8MP telephoto lens. A 12MP front camera is also listed.
For battery life, the phone could pack a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. An IP68 rating is also listed, adding protection against dust and water.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Price and Launch
Pricing remains one of the biggest questions. Recent reports suggest Samsung could increase the Galaxy S26 FE’s price compared with its predecessor, potentially making the upgrade less attractive if the hardware changes remain limited. Earlier reports have also suggested that the phone could launch around September.
For now, Samsung has not confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE price in India, launch date or official specifications. More details are expected to emerge ahead of its anticipated launch.
