JSW MG Motor India has teased the upcoming MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition, a new special version of its popular electric crossover. The teaser arrives as the Windsor EV completes two years in the Indian market, with MG claiming that more than 80,000 families have chosen the electric car so far.
MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition: What to Expect
The teaser doesn’t reveal full details of the upcoming MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition, but it hints at a more premium, distinctive look. The special edition is expected to feature a new exterior colour, exclusive Indulge badging and additional styling elements.
The cabin could also receive special treatment, potentially including updated upholstery, unique interior accents and additional equipment. MG followed a similar approach with the previous Windsor Inspire Edition, which received special exterior and interior detailing along with additional accessories.
MG has not yet confirmed whether the Indulge Edition will be available with the standard Windsor EV or the more powerful Windsor EV Pro. The company has yet to announce the official launch date, pricing and production numbers.
Battery, Range and Powertrain
The existing MG Windsor EV comes with two battery options. The standard version gets a 38kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 332km, while the Windsor EV Pro uses a larger 52.9kWh battery pack providing customers up to 449km of claimed range.
Both versions use a 100kW electric motor producing around 136PS and 200Nm of torque. The larger-battery version also supports faster DC charging up to 60kW.
MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition Launch and Price
MG has not revealed the launch date or price of the Windsor EV Indulge Edition yet. However, it is expected to arrive during the upcoming festive season. The special edition is likely to command a premium over the regular Windsor EV due to its exclusive styling and additional features.
The standard MG Windsor EV is currently priced from around ₹14.70 lakh ex-showroom, while the Pro range extends higher. More details about the Indulge Edition are expected to be revealed soon.
