For the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at the Antila in Mumbai, the actor stepped out in a striking ice blue sari from House of Masaba, pairing the classic drape with a structured strapless corset blouse.

Styled by Priyanka Kapadia, Alia’s custom tissue sari featured a subtle sheen and an elegant ice blue colour palette. The standout detail was its broad border, decorated with complex hand-embroidered zardozi work in muted gold.

The Strapless Corset Blouse Steals the Show
While the sari itself was undeniably elegant, Alia Bhatt’s blouse became the highlight of the look. The structured corset featured gold bullion threadwork and complex zardozi embroidery around its sweetheart neckline.
The strapless silhouette added a modern edge to the otherwise traditional outfit, proving how an unconventional blouse can completely transform the appearance of a classic sari.
Statement Jewellery and Minimal Glam
Alia kept her accessories elegant, choosing oversized silver-toned chandbalis from Apala by Sumit and stacked bangles from A Jewels by Anmol. The jewellery complemented the muted gold detailing on the sari without taking attention away from the corset.
For her beauty look, Alia opted for loose centre-parted waves, warm-toned eye makeup, a tiny black bindi and a nude lip. The understated styling allowed the complex craftsmanship of her outfit to remain the focus.
This is not Alia’s first experiment with unconventional sari blouses. She has recently embraced strapless corsets, keyhole designs and other contemporary silhouettes, including an ivory corset sari at Cannes 2026.
