The fashion icon stepped out in an archival-inspired Versace Banarasi skirt suit, which beautifully combines in the Italian design with the richness of Indian craftsmanship. The dramatic outfit was styled by the celebrity Rhea Kapoor and showcased a bold approach to luxury dressing.
The outfit was a bespoke interpretation of Look 3 from Versace’s Fall 2002 collection, recreated using Banarasi brocade. The vibrant fabric and structured silhouette brought together the glamour associated with Versace and the traditional appeal of Indian textiles. The result was a colourful and theatrical outfit which perfectly matched the signature maximalist style of Natasha Poonawala
Adding even more drama to the look was an oversized feathered jacket. The statement layer gave the outfit a glamorous, old-school fashion feel while complementing the sharply tailored skirt suit. She wore a Bvlgari necklace featuring emeralds, cultured pearls and diamonds, along with earrings from Rare Heritage and a Victorian bee brooch from Amrapali Jaipur. Polki and jadau details from Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas and a polki ring from Prabhu Dayal Sons completed the look.
