Maruti Suzuki has officially teased the upcoming Breeza facelift ahead of its launch on July 24, while opening bookings for the refreshed compact SUV across Arena dealerships and online. Customers can reserve the new Brezza with a token amount of ₹11,000, which marks the first major update to the SUV since the current generation model, which was debuted in 2022.
The teaser hints at a sharper front-end design featuring revised LED lighting elements, a redesigned grille, updated bumpers, and fresh dual-tone alloy wheels. While the overall silhouette remains familiar, Maruti Suzuki has focused on giving the Brezza a more premium and modern road presence. The rear is also expected to receive subtle styling tweaks with updated LED tail lamps.
Inside, the facelift is likely to bring a large infotainment touchscreen, a refreshed digital instrument cluster, improved upholstery, and additional convenience features. Reports also suggest that the SUV could receive upgraded driver assistance and safety technology, helping it stay competitive against rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kylaq.
One of the biggest expected upgrades is under the hood. The updated Brezza is widely tipped to introduce a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, likely borrowed from the Fronx, alongside the existing powertrain options. The facelift is also expected to feature a six-speed automatic transmission on select variants, promising improved performance and driving dynamics. However, Maruti Suzuki has yet to confirm the complete engine lineup.
Pricing will be announced at launch, although the all-new Brezza is expected to command a slight premium over the outgoing model. With refreshed styling, more technology, and a potential turbocharged engine, Maruti Suzuki aims to strengthen Breeza’s position in India’s highly competitive compact SUV segment ahead of the festive season.
