Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has officially launched the new Vivo Y600 Turbo in China, and the device is grabbing attention for one of the major reasons, which is its huge 9020mAh battery . The phone joins the growing lineup of Vivo’s battery-focused smartphones and is positioned in the mid-range segment.
Massive 9,020mAh Battery Takes Centre Stage
The Vivo Y600 Turbon features a large 6.63 inch AMOLED display with 1.5k resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 500 nits peak brightness . Vivo has also included the 4320Hz PWM dimming for improving eye comfort during extended usage. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Its biggest highlight is the massive battery capacity, which Vivo claims can retain at least 80 per cent battery health even after 1200 charging cycles. The phone supports 90W fast charging along with reverse wired charging, which allows users to charge other devices as well.
For photography, the Vivo Y600 Turbo comes with a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50P primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it comes with an 8MP selfie camera. The rear camera supports 4 K video recording and EIS stabilisation.
The device runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
