iPhone 18 Pro Leaks Hint at Major Design and Connectivity Upgrades

Apple’s next-generation iPhone lineup may still be months away, but the early leaks surrounding the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are already creating major buzz . Reports suggest that Apple could introduce significant upgrades in the display technology, satellite connectivity, and overall design, potentially making the iPhone 18 series one of the company’s biggest smartphone refreshes in years.

According to the recent leaks, the iPhone 18 Pro models may feature a taller and more immersive display with a noticeably smaller dynamic island . Apple is reportedly working on the under-display Face ID technology, which could reduce the visible front cutout and give the device a much cleaner look. The selfie camera may also shift to the top left corner, which marks a subtle but important design change for the iPhone lineup.

The upcoming Por models are also expected to be powered by the A20 Pro chip, which could be built on an advanced 2nm process. This may bring better performance, improved AI capabilities, and enhanced battery efficiency compared to previous iPhones. Reports further claim that Apple could introduce a variable aperture camera system on the Pro Max model for improved low-light photography and stronger depth effects.

One of the most talked-about upgrades is expected to be the satellite connectivity. Apple may reportedly add advanced 5G satellite support through its new in-house C2 modem. Unlike the current emergency-only satellite features, the new technology could allowmiohones tos witch automatically to the satellite networks in areas with weak cellular coverage, which makes connectivity more reliable during travel or in remote regions.

Leaks also hint at a possible price increase. While the buyers may pay around Rs 1.3 lakh for the iPhone 17 Pro, reports suggest the iPhone 18 Pro lineup could become even more expensive due to the new hardware upgrades and advanced connectivity features. Apple is expected to officially unveil the devices in September 2026.
