Cristano ronaldo achieved his long awaited saudi pro league triumph as Al Nassr defeated Damac 4-1 on the final day of the season to lift the 2025-26 league title. The emotional victory marked the first league trophy of Ronaldo since joining the Saudi club in 2023.
The 41-year-old Portuguese star delivered when it mattered the most for his team, scoring twice in the second half to guide Al Nassar to the championship. Goals from Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman had earlier put the Riyadh-based club in control before Ronaldo sealed the win with his trademark free kick and a late finish
Ronaldo was visibly emotional; after the final whistle, with the camera capturing the veteran forward in tears as fans celebrated inside the Al Awal Park. The title ended years of frustration for both the player and the club, who had been narrowly missing out on the silverware in the recent season.
Al Nasar finished the campaign with 86 points, narrowly ahead of their fierce rivals Al Hilal, who also won their final match but fell short in the standings. The championship is Al Nassr’s first Saudi Pro League title since 2019 and adds another major honour to the legendary career of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The brace also pushed the career goal tally of Ronaldo to 973 official goals, bringing him even closer to the historic 1,000-goal milestone.
