The next-generation Samsung foldable lineup is beginning to take shape ahead of its anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event later this month . Fresh leaks show the official-looking protective cases for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8 have revealed the key design changes, with the standard Fold 8 expected to adopt a noticeably wider form factor.
According to the leaked renders shared online, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 appears to be shorter and wider than its predecessor, showcasing the biggest design shift for Samsung for its book-style foldable in years. The broader cover display could make the phone more comfortable for daily use without unfolding it, addressing one of the most common criticisms of the earlier Galaxy Fold models.
Beyond the design, recent reports also indicate the Galaxy Z Fold 8 may feature a 7.6-inch 120Hz foldable display, a 5.5-inch QHD+ cover screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, dual 50MP rear cameras, and a 4,800mAh battery. The Fold 8 Ultra is expected to serve as the flagship Samsung foldable, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will continue the clamshell lineup of the company.
