OnePlus has officially confirmed the India sale date for its upcoming budget smartphone, the OnePlus N6x, ahead of its launch on July 31. The company has announced that the handset will go on sale starting August 4 at 12 PM IST via Amazon India and the official OnePlus online store. Alongside the availability details, OnePlus has also revealed key display and software features of the device.
One of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus N6x is its 120Hz flat display, promising smoother scrolling, gaming, and everyday interactions. While the company has not yet disclosed the complete display specifications, the high refresh rate is expected to deliver a more premium experience in the budget smartphone segment.
The smartphone will also introduce several AI-powered photo editing tools, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, and AI Unblur. These features are designed to improve portrait photography, remove unwanted objects from images, and sharpen blurry photos without the need for any kind of third-party editing app.
Previously, OnePlus had confirmed that the N6x would pack a 7,000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 2.5 days of usage on a single charge. The phone is also expected to feature a refreshed design with flat edges, a vertical pill-shaped rear camera module, and two colour options.
Although OnePlus has yet to announce the official pricing, industry reports suggest the N6x will target the affordable smartphone segment, which makes it a successor aimed at users who are looking for a long battery life, smooth performance, and AI-powered features without a premium price tag. More details, including the processor, camera hardware, RAM variants, and pricing, will be revealed during the official launch event on July 31.
