Nawazuddin Siddiqui says daughter Shora’s dance criticism “destroyed” his confidence

In a candid and light-hearted revelation, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently opened up about how his daughter Shora Siddiqui has become his toughest critic, especially when it comes ot dancing.

Speaking in a recent interaction, the actor admitted that the brutally honest feedback of the shora once destroyed his confidence. According to him, she doesn’t hesitate to point out his shortcomings and has even asked him to dance altogether because she finds him too stiff.

Despite the harsh critique, Siddqui shared the story with humour, showcasing the candid and unfiltered bond he shared with his daughter. In fact, he appreciates his honesty, noting that she is not in awe of his celebrity status and treats him like just any normal parent.

Interestingly, Shora herself is inclined towards performing arts and reports that she has aspirations in acting. Siddqui has expressed pride in her growing interest and talent, even as she continues to critique his performance in the same blunt honesty.

The story has resonated with fans for its reliability, showing a softer, more personal side of the acclaimed actor who is known for his intense roles in films such as Gangs of Wasseypur and Raees. It also showcases a refreshing parent-child dynamic, where feedback, even if harsh, is rooted in honesty rather than flattery.

Ultimately, while Shora’s comments may have dented Siddqui’s confidence for a short time, the actor seems to value them as a grounding force, proving that sometimes the most honest critics come from within the family.
