Ather Energy has launched its new Konarc electric scooter in India with a starting price of ₹99,999, ex-showroom Bengaluru. Positioned as a more practical and accessible electric scooter, the Konarc is Ather’s first production model built on its new EL platform. The company is offering the scooter in multiple variants, with claimed IDC range figures extending up to 200 km.
Ather Konarc Price and Range
The Konarc S range currently includes three variants. The entry-level S 100 is priced at ₹99,999 and gets a 2.1kWh battery with a claimed 100km IDC range. The S 125 costs ₹1,21,999 and uses a 2.7kWh battery, while the S 161 is priced at ₹1,44,999 and gets a 3.5kWh battery with a claimed 161km IDC range.
A 200km range version is also planned, although its price has not been announced yet. Ather will additionally introduce the more feature-rich Konarc Z range with 125km and 161km range options.
Features and Technology
The Konarc focuses heavily on comfort and everyday practicality. It gets a 14 inch front wheel, 90mm front suspension travel and 100mm rear suspension travel, along with a 1,352mm wheelbase. The scooter also offers 31 litres of underseat storage.
Ather has introduced its Advanced Electronic Braking System, or AeBS, which is designed to improve braking control and reduce rear wheel locking. Other notable features include MagicKey, AutoHold, Park Assist reverse and an integrated 450W onboard charger. A portable charger can also be combined with the onboard system for faster charging.
Deliveries and Availability
Deliveries of the Konarc S 125 and S 161 are scheduled to begin from September 2026. The S 100 will arrive in the first quarter of 2027, while the 200km version is planned for later. The Konarc Z variants are expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2027.
With its ₹99,999 starting price, multiple range options and practical features, the Ather Konarc expands the presence of the brand into the more affordable electric scooter segment.
