Subodh, a young travel enthusiast, proudly calls himself a ‘flâneur’, a French term for a person who wanders city streets aimlessly, acting as a keen, detached observer of modern life and society. In his recent visit to Landour, a beautiful town a little ahead of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, he captured these amazing shots. Each picture tells a story, and we at Collektive would like to show the world Landour through his eyes.
A beautiful British colonial house right in the middle of the mountains. We loved the way clouds gave him a moment to click the property.

The Dancing Clouds, as he loves calling it. These clouds were so much in the mood that they not only pushed the sun behind them but also took over a massive mountain.

Captured a family capturing nature. This is one of the moments where I was lucky enough to capture a family who stopped by to capture the beauty of nature.

Doors of the past, standing strong in the present. Landour takes you back in time where architecture is still prevalent and one can see the strong wooden doors’ colours in beautiful pastel shades. Here are two such doors which are at least 75 years old.

Eagle’s eye, where I captured Ladour in the frame, Mussoorie on the right, and if you zoom a little, the valley of Dehradun is also in this frame. What I really loved was the vibrancy of this town just ahead of a heavy rain shower.

And finally, a picture of me capturing this beautiful town of Landour in my eyes.
