Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition Launched at Rs 22,990: Check What’s New

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Victoris Aurum Edition in India to celebrate the first anniversary of its midsize SUV. The special edition introduces cosmetic enhancements and additional accessories, giving the SUV a more premium appearance. Priced at Rs 22,990, the Aurum Edition is available as an accessory kit exclusively for the strong hybrid variants of the Victoris.

The launch comes as the Victoris celebrates its strong sales performance in the Indian market. According to Maruti Suzuki, the SUV has achieved significant sales milestones during its first year, becoming one of the most notable offerings from the brand in the midsize SUV segment.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition: What’s New?

The biggest highlight of the Victoris Aurum Edition is its updated exterior styling. The accessory package adds copper coloured inserts to the front, side and rear skid plate designs, along with the wheel arches. These elements give the SUV a distinctive appearance compared to the standard model.

The package also includes chrome accessories for the front grille, fenders, bumpers, body side mouldings and door visors. Inside the cabin, buyers get all-weather 3D cabin mats, a 3D boot mat and a rear boot sill guard. These additions enhance the appearance of the SUV while providing extra protection for its interior surfaces.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition Price

The Aurum Edition accessory kit is priced at Rs 22,990. It is important to note that this is not a separate vehicle variant, but an optional accessories package available with the strong hybrid versions.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris Strong Hybrid range is priced between Rs 16.43 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Buyers opting for the Aurum Edition will need to pay for the accessory kit in addition to the SUV’s price.

Engine, Performance and Mileage

Mechanically, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition remains unchanged. It continues to use the existing strong hybrid powertrain, which combines a 1.5 litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with an electric motor and a battery pack.

The hybrid system produces a combined output of 116hp and sends power to the front wheels through an e CVT automatic transmission. Maruti Suzuki claims an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 28.65kmpl, making the hybrid version an option for buyers who want a good fuel economy

Maruti Suzuki Victoris Celebrates First Anniversary

The launch of the Aurum Edition highlights the Victoris’ first year in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki has stated that the SUV achieved the 1 lakh and 1.5 lakh sales milestones faster than any other passenger vehicle in India.

With its additional styling elements, the Victoris Aurum Edition provides buyers a way to personalise their SUV without compromising its existing hybrid performance or fuel efficiency. The new accessory package is aimed at customers who are looking for a more unique look for their vehicle.
