Apple has unveiled the new Apple TV 4K, bringing artificial intelligence, faster performance and an upgraded home entertainment experience to its streaming device. Announced on October 13, 2026, the latest model introduces a more conversational Siri AI experience powered by Apple Intelligence, alongside improved smart home controls and enhanced surround sound capabilities.

Apple TV 4K Gets Smarter With Siri AI
One of the biggest highlights of the new Apple TV 4K is its redesigned Siri AI experience. The assistant allows users to search for movies and shows through conversational requests, explore recommendations and ask follow-up questions about the content they are watching.
Siri AI can display relevant titles, poster artwork and personalised suggestions directly on the screen. With a compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad, it can also use personal context to respond to certain requests. The device features three far-field microphones, which allow users to interact with Siri hands-free, even while audio is playing.
A19 Chip Delivers Faster Performance
The new Apple TV 4K is powered by Apple’s A19 chip, which promises up to 50 per cent faster CPU performance and up to twice the GPU performance compared with the previous generation. These improvements are designed to make navigation more responsive, animations smoother and overall performance faster.
The device also features a dedicated AV1 decoder for more efficient video streaming. Apple has upgraded the Siri Remote with Find My support, including Precision Finding on compatible devices, making it easier to locate a misplaced remote.
Enhanced Home Theatre and Smart Home Features
Apple is introducing a four-speaker surround sound setup for the new Apple TV 4K when paired with compatible HomePod speakers. The system can automatically calibrate audio timing and levels according to speaker placement, which creates a more immersive home theatre experience.
The device also works as a smart home hub, which allows users to control compatible accessories, manage scenes and receive security camera notifications. Apple Intelligence can generate camera activity descriptions and summarised notifications for supported HomeKit Secure Video setups.
Apple TV 4K Price and Availability
Apple has announced a US starting price of $299 for the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K. Pre-orders opened on October 13, with availability in stores beginning November 13, 2026. The company has not specified Indian pricing in its announcement.
With Siri AI, upgraded processing power and expanded home theatre features, the new Apple TV 4K represents a significant update to Apple’s living room entertainment ecosystem.
