Janhvi Kapoor has once again made a strong fashion statement, this time in Paris, where she stepped out in an exquisite ivory sari featuring dramatic jewelled sleeves. The actor’s latest look beautifully blends traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern couture, with an elaborate blouse as the outfit’s centrepiece.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Elegant Ivory Sari
Janhvi wore a creation from New Delhi-based label Pankaj S. Heritage. The sari was crafted from fine 460 count Bengal muslin and retained its natural ivory shade, known as “khud rang”. The lightweight fabric gave the outfit a soft and graceful appearance, while the pleated drape maintained its timeless sari silhouette.
The pallu was enhanced with complex white chikankari embroidery, which added a delicate layer of traditional craftsmanship. The sari’s subtle detailing created an elegant contrast with the blouse’s more elaborate elements.
The Jewelled Blouse Steals the Show
The highlight of Janhvi Kapoor’s outfit was undoubtedly the statement blouse, which features sleeves embellished with polkis, garnets and emeralds. The colourful gemstones extended across her shoulders and were complemented by matching arm chains, giving the sleeves a dramatic and sculptural appearance.
Saraafa tassels and pink-hued kiran and resham detailing added movement and texture to the elaborate design. The combination of precious stones and traditional embellishment gave the blouse a luxurious finish while maintaining its connection to Indian craftsmanship.
Janhvi kept the rest of her styling relatively understated so that the statement sleeves remained the main focus. She accessorised with earrings, cuffs and a cocktail ring from Kolkata-based jewellery label Virrayaa Jewellery. She skipped a necklace, which allows the neckline and embellished sleeves to stand out.
For her beauty look, Janhvi opted for shimmering eyes, a muted nude lip and subtle blush. Her hair was styled into a sleek bun, which added a polished finish to the outfit.
