Sreeleela has once again made a strong fashion statement with a breathtaking pink lehenga which celebrates the richness of Indian craftsmanship. Created by New Delhi-based designer Ridhi Mehra, the elaborate piece combines traditional embroidery with a modern silhouette, which makes it a striking choice for the festive season.
Sreeleela Embraces Rose Quartz Pink
The actor opted for a soft rose quartz pink lehenga crafted from voluminous raw silk. Peach toned ornate arches frame the hem, while floral, geometric and architectural motifs are intricately worked across the pink base. The colour combination gives the traditional lehenga a fresh and modern appeal.
Over 600 Hours of Exquisite Craftsmanship
The standout feature of the lehenga is its complex surface. The ensemble incorporates appliqué along with hand-executed Aari and Zari embroidery inspired by traditional Marodi work. According to designer Ridhi Mehra, the detailed embroidery took over 600 hours to complete, showcasing the extensive craftsmanship and the precision involved in creating the piece.
A Sculpted Blouse Adds a Modern Touch
The matching blouse continues the ornate detailing of the lehenga while introducing a more modern silhouette. It features a sculpted sweetheart neckline, short structured sleeves and a dramatic open back. A delicate peachy orange net dupatta with an embellished border completes the look.
Sreeleela Keeps Her Styling Elegant
Rather than pairing the heavily embellished outfit with statement jewellery, Sreeleela kept her accessories understated. She chose an uncut diamond maang tikka and delicate drop earrings, while a matching fabric hairband added an unexpected styling detail. Soft pink and peach makeup, iridescent nails and a relaxed half-up, half-down hairstyle completed the look.
The versatile outfit also works beyond the festive season, with its rich craftsmanship and sophisticated palette, which makes it suitable for any kind of celebration, ranging from Diwali festivities to lavish indian weddings
