JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the new Hector Tomahawk EV in India, expanding its electric SUV lineup with a three-row model. The new MG Hector Tomahawk EV is priced from Rs 19.49 lakh ex-showroom, while buyers can also opt for the Battery as a Service BaaS plan starting at Rs 13.99 lakh plus Rs 4.9 per km.
MG Hector Tomahawk EV Price and Variants
The Hector Tomahawk EV is offered in Excite, Exclusive and Essence variants. The seven-seater Excite is priced at Rs 19.49 lakh, while the Exclusive costs Rs 21.99 lakh. The Essence variant is available in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations, priced at Rs 22.99 lakh and Rs 23.49 lakh respectively. These are introductory ex-showroom prices applicable to limited units.
517km Range and Electric Powertrain
The new MG electric SUV gets a 69.2kWh LFP battery pack paired with a single electric motor. It produces 201bhp and 310Nm, with a claimed MIDC range of 517km on a single charge. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 8.2 seconds and supports 90kW DC fast charging.
V2H Technology and Premium Features
One of the biggest highlights is Vehicle to Home V2H technology, which allows the battery of the SUV to supply power to a compatible home. It also gets V2L functionality for powering external electrical devices.
Inside, the Tomahawk EV gets a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10-speaker Infinity sound system and 360-degree camera. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, ESP and hill hold assist.
Bookings are now open, with EV deliveries scheduled to begin from September 2026.
