Vivo is set to expand its T series in India with the launch of the Vivo T5 5G on September 2, 2026. The upcoming smartphone will be unveiled at 12 PM and is expected to target users who are looking for a combination of premium design, strong performance and long battery life . Vivo has already confirmed several key specifications ahead of the launch of the phone.
Vivo T5 5G Launch Date and Expected Price
The Vivo T5 5G will launch in India on September 2 at 12 PM. The smartphone will be sold through the online store of Vivo, Flipkart and the retail outlets across the country. A Flipkart microsite for the device is already live.
Vivo has indicated that the phone could fall within the Rs 34,999 to Rs 49,999 price segment. The exact price and storage variants are expected to be announced at the launch event.
1.5K 144Hz Curved AMOLED Display
The Vivo T5 5G is teased with a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate should provide smoother scrolling and animations, while the curved panel adds to the premium appearance of the phone. The device is also expected to measure just 7.99mm in thickness.
MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo and 7,050mAh Battery
Powering the Vivo T5 5G will be the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, paired with an NPU designed for generative AI capabilities. The phone will run on OriginOS software from Vivo.
The biggest highlight, however, is its 7,050mAh battery. Vivo is positioning the smartphone as one of the slimmest devices in its segment with a battery exceeding 7,000mAh. The company has not yet revealed complete charging details.
Design, Colours and More
The Vivo T5 5G will be available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options. Camera specifications, RAM, storage, charging speed and final pricing remain under wraps and are expected to be revealed on September 2.
With its large battery, curved 144Hz AMOLED display and Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, the Vivo T5 5G could become an interesting option in India’s sub Rs 50,000 smartphone segment.
