Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition Launched at Rs 15.19 Lakh: Price, Features and More

Toyota has introduced the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition in India, adding a new black-themed styling package to its popular SUV. The limited-run package is priced at Rs 31,999 and is available through Toyota dealerships. It can be specified with the G(O) and V trims in petrol and strong-hybrid versions, exclusively with the Midnight Black exterior shade.

Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition Price

The Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition costs Rs 15.19 lakh for the G(O) variant and Rs 16.74 lakh for the V variant, with prices being ex-showroom. The standard G(O) and V variants are priced at Rs 14.87 lakh and Rs 16.42 lakh, respectively, meaning the styling package adds Rs 31,999 to the price.

What’s New in the Hyryder Aero Black Edition?

The Aero Black Edition is primarily a cosmetic upgrade. Toyota has blacked out several chrome elements on the SUV, including the detailing around the headlights, front grille and tailgate. The silver-finished trim on the lower front bumper has also been replaced with black treatment.

The special edition further gets an Aero Black Limited Edition badge, giving it a more unique appearance compared with the regular Hyryder. Toyota had previously introduced an Aero Edition styling kit for the SUV.

Toyota Hyryder Engine and Powertrain Options

There are no mechanical changes with the Aero Black Edition. The Hyryder continues with its existing powertrain lineup, depending on the variant.

Its 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine produces 103hp and 137Nm and can be paired with a five-speed manual or six-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. It is also available with two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options.

The CNG version produces 88hp and 121.5Nm and comes with a five-speed manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the strong-hybrid setup combines a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver 115hp, paired with an e-CVT and front-wheel drive.

The Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition therefore adds a sportier, stealthier look while retaining the SUV’s existing mechanical package.
