CMF by Nothing has officially expanded its audio portfolio with the launch of the CMF Clip Pro, the brand’s first pair of open-ear, clip-style wireless earbuds. It is designed for users who want to stay aware of their surroundings while listening to music; the new earbuds bring an affordable alternative to the growing open-ear audio segment.
Unlike traditional in-ear earbuds, the CMF Clip Pro have a lightweight clip-on design which sits comfortably on the outer ear. Each earbud weighs just 5.9 grams, which makes them suitable for extended listening sessions, workouts, and outdoor activities without blocking off the ambient sound. The earbuds will be available in Light Grey, Dark Grey, and Coral colour options.
CMF has also included its Ultra Bass Technology to enhance low-frequency performance, addressing one of the common challenges associated with open-ear earbuds. For calls, the earbuds feature a four-microphone setup aimed at improving voice clarity.
On the connectivity front, the earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, multipoint connectivity, and a Low Latency Mode for gaming. They also carry an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes.
Battery life is another major highlight; CMF claims the Clip Pro can deliver up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case extending the total listening time to 33 hours. The charging case also introduces a Smart Dial, which allows users to control the playback, adjust volume, and manage calls directly from the case.
Priced at $99 (around ₹8,700) in global markets, the CMF Clip Pro aims to make open-ear audio more accessible. While an India launch timeline has not yet been confirmed, the earbuds are expected to appeal to users who are looking for a comfortable, feature-rich alternative to conventional in-ear TWS earbuds.
