Renault has expanded its SUV lineup in India with the launch of the new Duster Adventure Edition, priced from ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Introduced just days after the debut of the Nissan Tekton, the special edition is designed for buyers who want to have a more rugged-looking SUV without paying a premium. Instead, Renault has positioned it as a better value alternative to the standard Techno variant.
Based on the Techno trim, the Adventure Edition receives several cosmetic upgrades inspired by outdoor exploration. The SUV features exclusive Adventure decals with Leh’s geographical coordinates, topographical contour graphics, black exterior accents, new body cladding, side steps, a bonnet protector, all-terrain styling elements, and special badging, which help distinguish it from the standard Duster. Despite these visual enhancements, Renault has retained its existing mechanical setup.
Inside, the cabin remains well-equipped with premium features, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone connectivity, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, electric tailgate, and multiple safety technologies. The SUV continues to offer the same kind of spacious cabin and practical layout which have made the new-generation Duster a strong contender in the mid-size SUV segment in India.
Under the hood, the Adventure Edition is available with the familiar 1.0-litre Turbo TCe 100 manual and 1.3-litre Turbo TCe 160 petrol engine options paired up with either a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic transmission. Prices start at ₹12.99 lakh for the Turbo TCe 100 MT, ₹13.99 lakh for the Turbo TCe 160 MT, and ₹15.39 lakh for the Turbo TCe 160 DCT (all ex-showroom).
With its tougher styling, feature-rich cabin, and competitive pricing, the Renault Duster Adventure Edition aims to draw in SUV buyers who are looking for a unique look while taking on its rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, and the recently launched Nissan Tekton.
