Fans of the hugely popular rural comedy drama Panchayat have reason to celebrate as Amazon Prime Video has officially confirmed season 5 of the hit series. After the emotional and politically charged ending of season 4, the story of Phulera is now set to continue with more drama, humour and village politics.
According to the reports, filming for the new season has already started, with the makers aiming for a release later this year on Prime Video. While an exact premiere date has not yet been announced, the confirmation of the new season has already generated massive excitement among the viewers who were eagerly waiting for the return of the show.
The upcoming session will once again be featuring Jitendera Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, better known as Sachiv Ji, alongside Neena Gupta, Raghubhir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa in key roles. Season 5 is expected to pick up directly after the dramatic events of the previous season. Where the political tension has intensified, Abhishek faced uncertainty about his future in the village.
